About Dessert Wave

After five years in the corporate world as an MBA HR graduate, I made the decision to follow a dream that had been with me since childhood—creating my own food brand. While my career provided stability and growth, my true passion always lay in the kitchen, in the art of baking and creating something meaningful.

My journey with food began in my childhood home, where my father ran a catering business. I grew up surrounded by the sounds and aromas of cooking, learning early on that food is more than sustenance—it's a form of love, a way to bring people together, and an expression of care. From my father, I learned the fundamentals: how quality ingredients transform into something magical, how presentation matters, and how patience shapes flavors.

My grandfather added another dimension to this foundation. Together, we would watch cooking shows and immediately head to the kitchen to recreate what we saw. Those moments taught me that cooking is about creativity, experimentation, and the joy of sharing experiences. It's about bonding over a shared passion and turning inspiration into reality.

When I moved to Pune after marriage and left my corporate job, I finally had the space to turn this dream into reality. With my husband's unwavering support and encouragement, we decided to create something that brings comfort, joy, and nostalgia—desserts that carry the warmth of family traditions and the excitement of new possibilities.
